POSITION:IS Support Assistant (contracted)

PROBATION PERIOD:3 months

 

Position purpose:

Company-partner of Philip Morris Georgia is looking for a dynamic, versatile, and highly motivated IS Support specialist. The candidate should be a quick learner, with the flexibility and ability to perform various tasks.

 

Accountabilities include:

  • Overall responsibility for the installation, adjustment and keeping in due order of company’s software, equipment, and information system infrastructure
  • Oversee the daily performance of computer systems, telephony and networks
  • Ongoing user support, including the set-up of equipment for employee use, trouble shooting, installation of software, technical assistance
  • Conduct computer and network diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service
  • Be involved in purchase process of new equipment; provide technical requirements and support tender process, liaise with vendors
  • Control IS related stock items (cartridge, spare details and other); responsible for accurate fixed asset maintenance/recording
  • To lead IS related projects in case of need
  • Any other ad-hoc activities depending on business needs

 

Education requirements:

  • University degree or last year student

 

Professional requirements:

Experience on relevant position (preferable)

Proficient knowledge of:

  • Windows 10 and MS applications (installation and administration)
  • Installation, adjustment and use of computer equipment as well as of various peripheral equipment (printer, scanner, video conference equipment, IP telephony)
  • Remote server administration tool (RSaT)

  • Well-organized with high sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems with minimal direction

 

Language requirements:

Georgian (required)

English language knowledge:

  • Written – intermediate
  • Spoken – upper intermediate
