Job Offer Atlantic Georgia:  Accountant


Atlantic Georgia is part of Groupe Atlantic: international company founded in 1968 in France with over 7100 employees, a turnover of 1,6 billion euros and a constant international development. 
The factory of Kutaisi is specialized in production of water heaters. In the factory is employed 80 employees.

  • Support Financial team in performing daily accounting duties, following industry trend and track changes related to taxes.


The main responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare asset liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Reconcile revenue service tax cards against accounting records
  • Monitoring correct booking of taxes in accounting software, prepare all tax returns and upload to
  • Update accounts receivables and issue invoices
  • Update accounts payable `and perform reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of monthly / yearly closings
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded and up to date
  • Checking and sorting incoming invoices and declarations and store all paper work in designated places
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
  • Perform Other accounting duties as assigned 


Qualifications and qualities required:


Education & Know-how:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields.
  • Knowledge of the tax code and IFRS
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting;
  • Full computer literacy, knowledge of MS Office (good knowledge of Ms. Excel)
  • Excellent math skills and accuracy with numbers
  • Preferable knowledge of 1C
  • Language: English (intermediate)

Working conditions:

  • Unlimited full-time work contract (4-month probation period).
  • Lunch and transportation to office provided by company.
  • Possible work outside of usual working hours in case of requirement during the month/ year closes.
