IK Consulting is looking for a PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST to join a partner company in the construction sector.
Location: Tbilisi
Application Deadline: October 12, 2024
Position responsibility:
- Identify potential suppliers, vendors, preparation of vendor list based on project requirements.
- Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
- Negotiate with contractors on price, mode of shipping, and delivery time.
- Distinguish prices between various vendors to make good purchasing decisions this includes preparation of comparison tables for the price offers and comparing with budget and presenting to the management for finalization.
- Negotiate with contractors on price, mode of shipping, and delivery time.
- Analyze the performance of certain vendors to decide whether to continue buying from them.
- Manage preparation, performance, and execution of procurement processes
- Identify potential vendors.
- Follow the procurement process to ensure efficiency, cost saving, and best practices.
- Retain positive work relationships with strategic suppliers to assure costs, quality, and delivery targets are met.
- Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
- Attend site meetings with the engineering team, vendors and suppliers.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and Supply Chain management
- Proficiency in Georgian, English, Russian.
- Strong negotiation Skills
- Past proven experience as a procurement specialist
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Mathematics skills
- Problem-solving Skills
- Analytical Skills
- Project management skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Multi-tasking Skills
