The successful applicant will be involved with:

• Preparing quotations for different Transport modes, Import/export/cross-trade.Obtaining details of cargo to be transported from the Client and his Vendor/Supplier and understanding the requirements.
• Agree on type/s of transport to be utilized for cargo and any specialist equipment needed.
• Contacting various subcontractors/ Bertling offices and sourcing best price/transit to suit the customers’ requests.
• Calculating all applicable costs and preparing competitive offers to clients.
• Communication with sales account holders to have better understanding of approach to different clients.
• Keep Client and management informed by operating instructions.
• Minimise operating costs by timely action.
• Process information into the in-house system.
• Generating quotation reports in in-house system
• Keep control of data entry/file closures in a timely manner
• Liaising with operations team to ensure smooth handover of successful quotes.
