World Vision Georgia (WVG) is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Facilitator of Multi-Service Center within the frame of the Project: “Community Mobilization and Participation” funded by UNHCR (The Representation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees).

Location: Tbilisi
Duration: January 2025 – December, 2025
Time frame: Full time (40 hours per week), Monday- Friday
Probation period: 6 months

Background Information:
World Vision is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
In January 2019, World Vision Georgia has started the project “Community Mobilization and Participation” funded by UNHCR (The Representation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). The project main goal is to contribute to the realization of fundamental rights of UNHCR Persons of Concern (PoCs) in Georgia, namely asylum-seekers, persons granted international protection, persons in statelessness determination procedure and stateless people and their integration into the local communities.

The main objective of the action is to strengthen and expand community mobilization of target groups by addressing the lack of effective community-based support and protection structures.

In addition, the project incorporates social component determined to ensure access to relevant State and non-State support services by vulnerable beneficiaries, including legal, medical, financial and socio-economic services, overall promoting the realization of their rights and employment opportunities.

Purpose of the position:
A selected candidate should have an indicated ability to supervise and care for children in the absence of parents at the preset area in the Centre in the culturally diverse context. Centre facilitator should also provide technical support to the Multi Service Center Coordinator in the operation of the Center.

Main duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the implementation of the activities related to smooth functioning of the Centre;
Monitor the implementation of respective internal regulations and instructions developed for smooth functioning of the Centre; (safety, ethics rules for both beneficiaries and staff, working hours, etc.) and report the Centre Coordinator according to the set regulations;
Supervise children's activities in a designated child-friendly room and play areas; Ensuring safety and preventability of the children’s room.
Accompany a group of children from a children’s room to other areas of the building;
Assist the Centre Coordinator in organizing various informational cultural events for center’s beneficiaries;
Track the records on attendance and participation of beneficiaries in all events of the center;
Manage the project's social media account in coordination with the Centre Coordinator and Project Manager.
Assist educational specialist in conducting non-formal educational activities both in the center or outside;
Assist with data entry tasks as part of the Progress database.
Assist the Centre Coordinator in the procurement process.
Perform other relevant tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Education
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Social Sciences, or related fields.

Requirements and personal traits:
  • Prior experience working with diverse communities is advantageous;
  • Skilled in supporting vulnerable groups in developing relevant abilities;
  • Proficient in English and Georgian (knowledge of Farsi or Arabic is a plus);
  • Demonstrates integrity by upholding the UN’s values and ethical standards;
  • Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, national and age sensitivity and adaptability;
  • Understanding of the culture and conditions in the area;
  • Possesses an understanding of local culture and conditions;
  • Adaptable, with strong multitasking abilities;
  • Shows a genuinely warm and caring approach towards children.
