Job Scope

Ensures company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and TAX Code of Georgia. Assists in daily, monthly, quarterly and year-end general accounting. Ensures that internal and external reporting is completed on a timely basis. Performs activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts.

Casino Otium announces a vacancy for the position: Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports;
• Assists in daily, monthly, quarterly and year-end general accounting and internal and external reporting on a timely basis;
• Analyze and creates spreadsheets related to slot audit;
• Audits paperwork generated by the Main Cage and Soft Count to verify accuracy;
• Prepares daily revenue journals;
• Prepares month-end and miscellaneous journal entries. Adheres to the requirements of the department's month-end closing schedules;
• Assists the Casino Accounting Representative as needed to ensure that all of the daily audit paperwork is completed;
• Files all documents and reports in a coordinated manner. Ensures that all file boxes contain the correct documents and reports;
• Performs other duties as assigned;

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field;
• Minimum two years of experience in an Casino Accounting department;
• Software: Oris Accounting, SQL, Cashless, Iron, Casino Assist;
• Working knowledge of Minimum Internal Control Standards and gaming regulations;
• Must be fluent in Excel and PC applications and able to prepare and analyze spreadsheets;
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Georgian and English;
• Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills.
