Flat Rock Technology is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of DevOps Engineer

Our company operates from seven locations – London, Varna, Ruse, Amsterdam, Burgas, Budapest, and Tbilisi and provides software, cloud, and outsourcing services.
With more than 400 highly skilled specialists in our team, we are able to cover all phases of a solution lifecycle – from research, through implementation, to support and allow organizations to create a more cost-effective structure while focusing on their core activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins
- Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Google Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Prometheus, and Grafana
- Optimize cloud costs, performance, and security across GCP services
- Manage IAM roles, policies, and security configurations in line with best practices
- Troubleshoot networking issues, load balancers, and cloud storage performance
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance cloud-native application deployments
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.)
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, VPC, etc.)
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
- Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Understanding of networking, security best practices, and IAM policies in GCP
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, ELK, or Stackdrive
- Familiarity with incident response and system troubleshooting in cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, GKE Certified Administrator, etc.)
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
