MLsoft is announcing a vacancy for: Chief Accountant

On-site | Working Hours: 09:00 - 18:00

Salary Range: 4500-6500 (NET)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial reporting process, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management and stakeholders.
• Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align plans with organizational goals.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledgers, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Prepare and file tax returns (income, sales, payroll), ensuring compliance and minimizing tax liabilities.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to laws and guidelines.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and financial reports to government entities, including salary, profit, VAT, pension, statistical, annual financial, and property tax reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same position at an international company.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Perfect command of English and Georgian.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in articulating complex financial information clearly and logically.
